Effects of Pulmonary Surfactant Combined with High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation on Blood Gas Analysis, Oxygenation, Serum IL-4, IFN - γ and IgE in Children with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

Abstract

To analyze the effects of pulmonary surfactant combined with high frequency oscillatory ventilation on blood
gas analysis, oxygenation, serum IL-4, IFN - γ and IgE in children with acute respiratory distress syndrome. 240
children with acute respiratory distress syndrome admitted to our hospital from July 2016 to July 2019 were
randomly divided into observation group (120 cases) and control group (120 cases). Children in control group
were treated with pulmonary surfactant, children in observation group were treated with pulmonary surfactant
combined with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, and the blood gas of the two groups were analyzed
Analysis indexes (pH, PaO2, PaCO2), respiratory function indexes (OI, map, a/Apo2), IL-4, IFN - γ) The
differences of serum immunoglobulin E (IGE) level and hospitalization days, ventilator use time, mortality, cure
rate, inhaled oxygen concentration and oxygenation index were analyzed. After treatment, the pH value and
PaO2 of each group were higher than those before treatment, and the above indexes of the observation group
were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05), the level of PaCO2 was lower than that
before treatment, and the above indexes of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the
control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of OI and map in
each group were lower than those before treatment, and the above indexes in the observation group were
significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the levels of a/Apo2 in the observation group
were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-4, IFN - γ
and IgE in each group were lower than those before treatment, and the above indexes in the observation group
were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The length of stay in hospital and the use time
of ventilator in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05), the
mortality rate was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and the cure rate was significantly
higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of inhaled oxygen concentration and
oxygenation index in each group were lower than those before treatment, and the above indexes in the
observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically
significant (P<0.05). The combination of pulmonary surfactant and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation can
improve the oxidation index, regulate the inflammatory reaction of the body, improve the lung function index,
reduce the lung injury, reduce the death rate of the children, and have good clinical effect, which is worthy of
clinical application.
